  Oh Lordy, I am stucking fuffed!!!
  
  Ever since we saw the recent post about the 2 for 1 burger special here the Missus has been bugging me to go, and what the Missus wants, the Missus gets, so we done went and got ourselves into the minivan and scurried down the road to satiate our cravings.
  
  I have to admit, I am so totally in love with this joint, from this classic 50s decor and music playing in the background to the quintessential american diner fare offered it is like stepping into a different time and place and I really dig it Daddy-o.....
  
  This was the kinda place that 1970s me would hang out eating a giant platter of fries in gravy when I was skipping school and hanging around with my hooligan friends, just don't tell my parents, they still have no idea.
  
  We opted for the aforementioned special because you have to remember that besides my many other endearing qualities I am above all....really freaking cheap! And all that grub (waaay too much for the two of us) for only $13.99 is an incredible deal.
  
  I had a hankering for one of their legendary milkshakes so I had one in chocolate, oh god it was so absofreakinglutely delicious and thick! It's a good thing that it comes with a spoon because if you tried to finish it with the straw your head would implode and that would make it infinitely more difficult to drive home.
  
  Although we both enjoyed our meals after putting forth our best efforts we were forced to raise the white flag and surrender, I am pretty sure that 1985 me could have put most if not all of it away but 2019 me could not, not even close...
  
  So 2 burgers (added cheddar to mine), 2 massive piles of fries, a milkshake, and a bottle of lemonade with tax came to under 25 bucks....way bueno dude.
  
  So if you are old and in the mood for a blast from the past, or young and want to see how we lived before smartphones and sushi took over the world then give them a try.
  
  +2 because no, I don't think that I could eat like this every day but we had a really good time.

  Lol I'm not sure what I'm missing or all the good reviews are smoking but here is the break down for real. The waiting staff are awesome. Quick, friendly and accurate. The place is clean and is indeed a cool old school feel. But unless you just want to go and chill sip on one of their many varieties of really good milk shakes and listen to some 50's music. Stay tf away from here for food! The cooks don't gaf about culinary arts or even just whisking  up a basic breakfast. They belong in a logging camp or Mexican prison line kitchen. I'm not even going to get into  all of the problems. The bottom line is the cooking staff have no heart for serving good food to anyone. It really frustrates me to see people like that running a kitchen there is plenty of other jobs out there. Why Tf are u trying to cook for a living if you have no interest in doing it even mediocre? P.s to all you yelpers that wrote good reviews on the food shake your heads,  you have a duty to be honest shame on you all.

  The place is done up like a cute classic 50's diner but if you're even a bit slightly bit overweight you're not going to fit in the booths. I'm skinny and I barely fit. The place wasn't that busy yet the waitress took her sweet time coming over to take her order and the chefs took almost 45 min to cook a veggie burger and fries and make my friend perogies. It was typical 50's diner food. No wow factor. No disappointment except the wait. The bill was $44 for a burger, fries and perogies with coffee.

  The best part about a grilled cheese sandwich is when the cheese is melted. The cheese wasn't melted. I guess my advice would be to change the menu to say "cheese sandwich" instead of "grilled cheese".

  Love this place! Staff are super welcoming and the shakes are delicious! The restaurant is very nice inside and is great for photos!
